IT STARTED IN THE GLORY DAYS OF SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS

Every kid growing-up in the 1980s could depend on four things: getting up early even though it was a Saturday, a deeply unhealthy bowl of breakfast cereal, sitting down to watch a sweet animated adventure, and a helpful safety lesson at the end of every episode. Safe Steps Kids — a joint project spearheaded by The Prudence Foundation, The Red Cross/Red Crescent, and Cartoon Network — is a direct descendent of that Saturday morning tradition.

Join the Powerpuff Girls, We Bare Bears, and Gumball and Darwin as they teach a whole new generation of kids how to stay safe.
